A trip to Egypt typically costs from a few hundred dollars per person for a single day trip up to a few thousand dollars per person for a longer multi-day journey, depending on hotel tier, group size and whether you add domestic flights. As of September 2026, our published starting prices range from $95 for a Cairo day trip to around $1,450 per person for the seven-day signature journey.
The main variables are: number of nights, hotel tier (budget, mid-range or luxury), group size, and whether you add a domestic flight leg between Cairo, Luxor and Aswan instead of traveling by road or overnight train. Guiding, transport between sites and entry fees for the itinerary's core stops are included in every quote; optional extras like hot-air balloon rides or spa treatments are not.
What this does not cover: international flights to and from Egypt, which are priced and booked separately from your Egypt itinerary.
