The journey

Old Cairo, the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, then two days in Fayoum with a dune buggy ride, a desert night and the Valley of the Whales.

Essential Egypt is the first four days of Grand Egypt on their own: the layered streets of Old Cairo, the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, then two days in Fayoum, with a night at the Desert Glamp between them.

It is the shortest way to see both sides of Egypt, the city and the sand. Gold is the full experience: breakfast at 6901 and at Khufu’s, a zipline at the Cave Church, the inside of Menkaure’s pyramid and dinner over fire at Magic Lake. Silver is the same core journey, with lighter costs on those extras.

Questions, answered

What is the difference between Silver and Gold?

Gold is the full Egyphoria experience. Silver is the same core journey — the same days, the same sites, the same private guide and car — with lighter costs in a few places: simpler breakfasts and dinners, and fewer extras.

Can I add Luxor or the Red Sea?

Yes. Essential Egypt is the first half of Grand Egypt, so it extends day by day. Ask us and we will price the longer version.
